Working with Tracy has helped me gain clarity on my vision for my psychology practice, identify and speak to the clients I serve best, and stay intentional with my focus and energy as I work on growing my practice. Iā€™m surprised at how much I have outpaced my (admittedly optimistic) growth goals in such a short time! Tracy introduced me to the idea of building my business around my life (instead of the other way around!) and as ambitious as I have been, I am so happy with my practice and how it fits into my dream life.

At the end, it's clear how much growth I had in my in accomplishing my goals.

Year 1 I created a successful practice that supported me and my family. I started transitioning to out-of-pocket from insurance.

Year 2 I maintained about the same income (a bit less, considering I took 2 weeks off this made sense), reduced my work hours by 40-50%, and freed up time to invest in my mission business. I also (shortly after we ended) accomplished the goal of going from 25/75 of self-pay to insurance clients to the reverse (75/25, closer to 80/20) in terms of number of clients.

One area I've consistently continued to struggle is client acquisition. While the transition happened, my overall number of clients fell (which is closer to ideal for me, but missing the sense of empowerment to make the choice with a wealth of options). I "fell into" having fewer clients instead of "opting to" keep my client load smaller. This is still a challenge for me (and I'm continuing to work on it).
